When running intensive programs, this CPU offers an extra burst of speed, thanks to Intel’s Turbo Boost Technology. This notebook comes equipped with 8GB of RAM, which lets it run multiple applications at the same time. Lenovo has outfitted this notebook with a 256GB solid-state drive that provides quick boot times and virtually instant access to your data. To protect your data, Opal 2 encrypts the data on the drive and an integrated fingerprint reader provides another option to access it.

Display And Connectivity

The ThinkPad L450 notebook sports a 14″ LED backlit screen and integrated Intel HD 4400 graphics to deliver a resolution of 1366 x 768. If you need additional on-screen workspace, this notebook has a VGA port and a mini DisplayPort so you can connect external monitors. You can connect other peripherals, such as printers and external storage drives, to the notebook’s three USB 3.0 ports. Moreover, one of these USB ports can even charge USB devices when the computer is turned off. To import content from video and digital cameras without using a cable, this notebook has a card reader that can read and write to SD, SDHC, SDXC, and MMC memory cards. It can also wirelessly access devices via Bluetooth such as a Bluetooth-enabled mouse or a headset.
